I thought I’d written a halfway decent short story earlier on this year… but… I just read your short story, Half-Blind Dog in the Carolina Quarterly. https://thecarolinaquarterly.com/2019/06/half-blind-dog/ Brilliant. Really enjoyed it.
Amy Henry! Hello! My MSU roomie. How are you?!!! It is me, Lorna. For some reason Shawn popped into my head snd then you and now Doogie…the Bogue Street Sisters. Remember the firetruck event and clearing out the apartment building at midnight? Remember running back from Ihop because we talked so long there were no more city buses back to our apartment and my “pigmy” legs could not keep up. We were running becsuse I sensed danger from that group of guys in a truck and I said “Run!” I’d love to hear from you! My email is tlorrosegalaxy1101@gmail.com
